Terms of Service

Deal Shortlist is a research service. We read publicly listed acquisition opportunities against criteria you give us and send you the ones that fit, with our reasoning and our sources.

It is currently in early access. Coverage, timing and format may change while that is true, and the set of marketplaces we read will grow over time.

Nothing we send you is financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and it is not completed due diligence. A shortlist is a starting point for your own investigation, not a substitute for it.

We are not a broker, we are not a marketplace, and we are not party to any transaction you enter into. We take no commission on a deal.

We label every material statement as supported, seller-claimed or unknown, and we tell you where a supported figure came from. A seller-claimed figure is one we have not been able to verify — we pass it on marked as such and make no representation that it is true.

We do not guarantee that a listing is genuine, that a seller is honest, that a valuation is accurate, or that an acquisition will succeed.

You are responsible for your own diligence and for any decision you make. Do not redistribute a shortlist we have prepared for you, and do not use the service to scrape, resell or republish third-party listing data.

Reserving an early-access place charges nothing and requires no card. If and when a paid plan begins, we will tell you the price and take your agreement first. Paid plans, once live, are month to month and can be cancelled at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months.
